A new patent application has showed up from Apple that hints future smartphones and other products may use glass that is no longer flat. The patent application outlines a method of creating curved glass. Rather than forming glass in a curved pattern, the patent shows the process of taking normal flat sheets of glass in curbing into the desired contour.
Artwork included with the patent application shows a contour that looks particularly well-suited to a mouse. Perhaps this is how Apple will make its next-generation mice. If you’re the sort who likes to jailbreak your iPhone, the Auxo app switcher for iOS 6 is now available on the Cydia app store.
If you’re into that sort of thing, you can buy the app switcher for $1.99 if you own an iOS 6 device. The app switcher allows you to use gestures for closing apps and more.
